When it comes to protective gear, fit is everything.
We listened closely to your feedback and introduced five upgrades to the fit of our youth cut-resistant BattleGear.
Here’s what’s new:
- Higher collar height: We increased the height of the collar – extending it under the chin and all the way around the neck. This will better protect the carotid artery and jugular vein to maximize the coverage of all the critical areas further improving overall safety and making it – undoubtably – the safest shirt in the game of hockey.
- More tapered sleeve: We reduced the bagginess at the bicep and forearm.
- Reduced sleeve length: We reduced the sleeve length to better align the position of our cut-resistant wrist guards.
- Expanded underarm mesh: We added 300% more mesh under the arm for increased ventilation.
- Tapered body fit: A more athletic cut replaces the old loose fit – delivering ergonomic comfort, reduced bunching, and locked-in protection.
With these upgrades, our youth neck guard shirt not only fits better – it moves like a second skin shift to shift.
The old and new versions are comparable in size. You shouldn't need to size up – but, with the growth rates of youth players and the refined fit, we do recommend going one size up from your last purchase if it was more than 6 months ago.
Big thanks to the parents, coaches, and players who pushed us to raise the bar.
