Designed for the player who refuses to compromise, Titan BattleGear's BattleGear 3.0 Cut-Resistant Baselayer delivers the most advanced cut-resistant protection ever created, now 75% lighter, 28% stretchier in the collar, and built with a redesigned wrist guard that raises the bar on coverage and durability.
This shirt features an A9 cut-resistant collar and wrist protection, powered by TITANOTEX™ AERO, the third generation of our proprietary cut-resistant material and the most significant material advancement in Titan's history.
Every part of the shirt has been engineered forward. The new 3.0 collar construction is 75% lighter and stretches 28% more than the previous generation, delivering unrestricted movement from the first shift to the last.
Structural improvements to TITANOTEX™ AERO also increase breathability, keeping players cooler through full games, back-to-back practices, and tournament days. The redesigned 3.0 wrist guard adds over 1 inch of additional cut-resistant coverage and removes exposed stitching to eliminate abrasion from elbow pad velcro contact, the exact wear point that degraded previous generation cuffs over time. Titan's patented Arc~Guard™ collar provides maximum coverage of critical areas, while the contoured shape ensures the most comfortable fit in the category.
Powered by patented Stretch ProCurve™ technology, it eliminates Velcro entirely from the product. The collar dynamically expands and contracts to maximize comfort and protection throughout play.
Built for performance, the athletic fit, 4-way stretch, and quick-dry technology stay dialed in from puck drop to final whistle. Breathable mesh panels cool you under pressure while anti-bacterial fibers maintain freshness from session to session.

What's the Difference Between 3.0 and 2.0 BattleGear?
Titan BattleGear 3.0 features the new Titanotex™ Aero, our third generation of cut-resistant material. Titanotex™ Aero is 75% lighter than gen 2 Titanotex™, and stretches 25% more, to make sliding the baselayer over your head easier than ever. Lastly, the wrist protection is now a level A9, and provides an extra inch of coverage up the forearm.
What Makes Titan Battlegear The Safest?
Titan Battlegear's hockey neck guard utilizes advanced American-made cut-resistant materials and a unique collar design to maximize coverage of critical zones.
Other Brands Use Kevlar®, Why is Titan’s Titanotex™ Cut Resistance is Better?
Most Kevlar® fabrics offer an ANSI cut resistance level A2, and in very rare occasions level A3 (on a scale of A1 to A9).
Titan's hockey neck guard shirt utilizes proprietary, American made fabrics, delivering the highest cut-resistance: level A9, which makes it 200 stronger than steel, and almost 5 times more cut resistant than Kevlar® products.
Are there certifications for the USA Hockey mandated laceration protection?
New USA Hockey rules state that for a neck guard to qualify for all players 18 and under in the United States, they must have an HECC certification.
Currently the only brand available at major retailers with an HECC Certification is Titan BattleGear.
How Safe Is The Shirt After Many Washes?
We tested cleaning with cycles across TEN Durawash twin-tub industrial machines. This is equivalent to 50 washes in a domestic washing machine.
The cut resistance level, following this washing process increased by 4%. Test reports from INTERTEK are available upon request.
Where Are Titan's Products Produced?
The United States of America! Titan was born in Florida and produced in St. Paul, MN, and has additional factories in North Carolina, New Jersey, and New York.
The mass market and other independent brands produce in China, with questionable labor practices and superficial cut resistance certifications.
