Letter from our CEO

Dear Valued Titan Customer,

We have become aware that some units from the batch of production between September 13, 2024 and December 12, 2024 are experiencing velcro fastening issues.

Our California-based Velcro provider has confirmed that the loop-side parts we received for that production are indeed fatiguing faster than their guaranteed lifecycle (300 cycles).

They have provided us with a more durable loop-side replacement part (10,000 cycles vs 300 cycles).

We stand by our Battlegear and can provide you with two solutions:

Option 1:

Titan will provide you with a return label to send back your shirt for our team to replace the Velcro loop-side part, and then return your repaired shirt to you as soon as possible.

Option 2:

Titan will send you the new loop-side part. Please take the new loop-side part to your local tailor/alterations specialist to replace the part.

Once the repair is completed, please send an email to info@titanbattlegear.com with the receipt from the alteration shop for reimbursement.

We apologize for this inconvenience, and have added additional quality control measures when receiving vendor-produced parts and materials before advancing through our own production.

Thank you for your commitment to safety and style with Titan Battlegear!

Together We Conquer,

OPTION 1: TIMELINE

OPTION 2: LOCAL ALTERATION GUIDE

1. Removing the Velcro

  • Use a seam ripper to lift stitches from the smooth fabric side without damaging it.
  • Break the longest stitches first for easier removal.
  • Gently pull loose threads to detach the Velcro.
  • Repeat until the Velcro is fully removed.

2. Sewing the Velcro Loop

  • Align the new Velcro in the original position.
  • Start stitching at the outer edge, aligning the presser foot with the Velcro.
  • Turn corners by keeping the needle down, lifting the presser foot, and rotating the fabric.
  • Reinforce stitching at the starting point and trim loose threads.
  • Flip the collar and repeat stitching from the fabric side, following the first stitch line.
