Fits really well. We got the YTH-LG size for a kid that's 1.48m at age 10. Tried several other shirts but this one has the best fit around the neck. It doesn't get that warm as the material in the back upper body is breathing really well. The protection around the neck and wrists is thicker and more robust than others we've tried. Overall, great product that even though it's a bit more expensive also does provides better protection and quality. We'll be sticking with this products.
Wanted a protective undershirt for hockey, and this checks all the boxes! Great wrist and neck protection, and no Velcro that wears out after uses and washes. Love it!

This is an awesome neck guard for women or for men who wear their hair a bit longer. Velcro is the worst. It was nice to find a solid product without the velcro.

Bought it for my daughter after receiving a bad cut on her coolarbone. She finds it very comfortable, and it doesn't restrict her movement at all. Highly recommend.
This is my sons favorite neck guard by far. No Velcro is the way to go. The colors are amazing and help me find him on the ice. Wish they had more styles in stock. Been waiting for weeks now for a specific color to be back in stock. Would love to be able to preorder it or order it on back stock.

These are my son's absolute favorite base layer shirts. He hates when they are in the laundry and he has to wear a different brand with Velcro. And they've held up great to regular use and washing.
According to my teenage son this product gets 5 stars for breathability and stability of the neck guard.
I got this base layer for my 16U son as a replacement for "another brand". Usually pretty particular about his base layer, he's used the same brand for years, he immediately loved the Titan Battle Gear base layer. He really likes that there is no velcro and that is isn't contrictive on his neck. Will be purchasing additional.
So my kid has been wearing this for a month now. He likes it way better than the cheap Velcro strap ones that wear out easy or the velcro shirt ones. This doesn’t strangle him or move up and down his neck. It also doesn’t get ripped off in a tussle. He’s had no complaints and prefers this to all the others we’ve tried.
Love everything about this one - design is fun while keeping my kid safe.
This is the third base layer I have purchased. The quality and workmanship is unsurpassed. I will definitely be purchasing more products from Titan BattleGear.

We loved the previous version of the Titan shirt we bought (with the older Velcro material), which fit my son perfectly. When we ordered a new Youth XL in the updated design, the new material felt much tighter and more compressive overall. The shirt was noticeably smaller, and the head opening was so snug it was almost impossible to get his head through without a real struggle—very frustrating to put on!
After realizing the fit had changed dramatically, we upgraded to a Men's Small, and it fits perfectly now. The protection, quality, and cut-resistant features are excellent, and the slightly roomier feel in the Men's Small works great for him.
If you're buying this newer version, definitely consider sizing up (at least one full size larger than your previous Youth fit). It would be really helpful if the brand added a note about the tighter, more compressive fit in the product description or size chart.
Overall, once you get the right size, it's a fantastic baselayer!
Love these velcro-less neck-guard shirts so much for my 12-year-old hockey player! So much more peace of mind than those flimsy neck-guards that fall off or get forgotten in the bottom of hockey bags. I also like that this material keeps him dryer under his gear. They wash beautifully but with 2 practices and 2 games a week minimum, I’m washing his two shirts constantly. I would love to buy more but they’re pricey!
U12 player- had tried several other types of under neck guard shirts and have always had sizing and velcro issues. This solved both of those issues. Titan has a perfect sizing chart and my daughter loves the material. Perfect fit and perfect protection. The neck for is not too tight so she doesn’t complain about wearing it. We are ordering another one so she can rotate colors. Thanks Titan!
Great fit and good protection. I previously bought the velcro shirts from Titan, which worked well and have lasted great over time, but the velcro free version is even more comfortable and doesn't get caught in my hair.
My son loved the design and it fit him great. He’s only 5 so it’s hard to find gear that fits well.
